The Apple iPhone

Apple Is Back On Top With The iPhone

Apple is a well known name in the technology era in which we now live.  They are the company that began the computer revolution and have remained a constant key player in the technolgy race.  They were even the very first company to introduce the popular ‘iPod’ to the world.

However, despite their leading role in our technology world they have failed to establish any territory in the ever growing mobile phone industry.  That is at least, until now!  The new mobile phone created by Apple has quickly become one of the most desired, not to mention coolest, devices available on the market today.

At the January 2007 MacWorld conference Steve Job announced that Apple was in the process of developing a mobile phone, which was to be called the iPhone.  This announcement inspired excitement throughout the technology world.

The iPhone would have the amazing ability to double as both a mobile phone and also an iPod. There was a lot of media hype and press surrounding the functions, capabilities, and even the price of the iPhone prior to its release on June 29, 2007.

When the release date finally arrived though all over the world consumers were lined up to purchase their very own iPhone. The iPhone is approximately the size of an iPod nano and comes in black, white, or platinum.

Of course, there will be more colors and visual options in the iPhones future.  It has more ability than to simply just play music and make phone calls.  You have the ability to text message, take pictures, watch movies, surf the Internet, watch videos, send and receive mail, and even store iTunes.

It is truly amazing how such a little hand-held device can have the capiblity to do so much, and others just simply appreciate the technology they have at their fingertips.
The iPhone is like a computer and a phone combinged.  The user has the ability to text message, surf the Internet, take pictures, watch movies and videos, send and receive mail, and store iTunes.

The iPhone is not cheap, in fact, this little hand-held device cost between $500 (USD) and $600 (USD).  The price does depend on the amount of memory that you choose to purchase, and the amount of memory you need depends on how you plan to use it.

Most consumers feel that the iPhone is well worth its asking price.  Still other consumers have choose to wait for Apple to work out any little glitches it may have before they purchase one.  Either way it has to technology at its best.

In the technology world we all knew it was only a matter of time before Apple finally joined the mobile phone industry, and with a loyal fan base they had nothing to lose.

By creating the iPhone they have once again proven why they are one of the top companies in technology today, not to mention it has proven to be
a great business decision.
